Choose an older child to speak the snail's rhyme, using a low and draggy speaking voice. Allow the entire group to speak the mouse's rhyme together, using a high and spirited speaking voice.
Activity: Sit in a circle of mice with a snail on the outside of the circle. The snail will speak its solo while crawling around the outside of the circle, then climbing up to sit on a wooden chair (rail). When it is the turn of the mice, they will speak their rhyme while they crawl quickly around the circle (house).
