Instructions
Explain to students that the song "Oh, Here We Are Together" — an add-on song — can help us recall everyone's names in music class.
Teach the song by rote, one phrase at a time, until secure. On the word floor, pat the floor with both hands.
OR
Play the song a few times, encouraging students to join in, until secure.
Explain that four names are sung the first time, and the next time, four more names are added (eight names total), and the time after that, four more names (12 names total), and so on.
Play the accompaniment, and all sing.
