As you listen to this song, pretend you are wearing a funny Halloween mask. Pat the steady beat on your lap as you freeze your face like your mask.
How many monsters are in the song? (10) What are they trying to do? (scare me)
Sing the song together and show the numbers in your fingers.
Line up in groups of 10. Distribute unpitched rhythm instruments to everyone. Give each person a number from 1-10. When you hear your number in the song, keep the steady beat with your instrument. Add an instrument with every number until each line has 10 instruments playing. For the next verse, take instruments away until only one instrument is left playing.
